Gianlui Buffon has secured a place in the top four of the Serie A season by winning at home to Milan on Saturday.
He had been out of contention with a hamstring injury but he took charge against the Rossoneri, who were struggling in midfield and had scored a second-half equaliser after coming back from a 2-0 lead at the break.
Buffon was joined in the front-line by Andrea Belotti, who scored twice and had a goal disallowed.
It was a tough evening for Milan who were without injured goalkeeper Luca Antonelli and midfielder Gianluio Parolo.
Milan are in the Champions League places, having won two games out of four, but their form is in tatters after being beaten 2-1 by Bologna in the last-16 on Saturday and now they are at the bottom of the table.
